Statement from Jahanbanou News Agency Pledging Allegiance to the Third Guardian of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei.
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.” (Quran 4:59)
To the Dear and Dignified People of Islamic Iran,
On the blessed Night of Qadr during the holy month of Ramadan, God bestowed His grace, and the Guardian of the Muslims, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, was introduced as the third Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
We are thankful to God for this blessing and will dedicate all our efforts to supporting him.
The Holy Quran, in verse 12 of Surah Al-Mumtahanah, identifies the first characteristic of women who pledge allegiance to the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) as being monotheistic and free from associating partners with Almighty God.
We, as Muslim women, taking this noble verse as our guiding principle, and united under the banner of monotheism, far from the multiplicity of devious forms of polytheism that distance humans from their divine nature, pledge our allegiance to the Vali-e-Faghih (Guardian Jurist) of our time. We make a covenant with our God to remain steadfast in this commitment and responsibility until our last breath.
Our martyred leader, Imam Khamenei, once stated:
“The role of women in the victory of the Revolution was greater than that of men. That is, the presence of women in public and political struggles had a multifaceted role. A man was an individual who came and participated in the rallies, and that was all. However, when the woman of the household considered herself a stakeholder in the struggle and entered the field, she in fact brought into the arena the home where the man, woman, and children reside, and presented a family in the field of struggle.”
And we, Muslim women, have entered the field to, with our unique role from family-building to civilization-building, strengthen the foundations of a monotheistic society until the complete realization of the Islamic system, following the Imam of the Muslims. We aim to pave the way for the advent of His return by nurturing a virtuous and dynamic generation.
