In the U.S. and Zionist regime’s attack on Iran, missiles struck a sports hall in Lamerd, killing at least 18 people and injuring over 80, including many children and teenagers. Governor Ali Alizadeh condemned the attack and vowed a decisive response from Iran’s armed forces.
Ali Alizadeh, Governor of Lamerd, said: “The U.S. and the Zionist regime fired missiles at the sports hall where female students were training. Two missiles also hit residential homes, and one projectile struck a school. So far, 18 martyrs have been recorded and more than 80 people are injured.”
The attacks occurred in urban, residential and non‑military areas while girls and children were exercising and playing inside the Shahid Na’imi Sports Hall. Approximately 18 people have died, and the death toll may rise due to the severity of injuries. Over 80 innocent civilians, including children, teenagers and youngsters, have been wounded and are currently receiving treatment in Lamerd hospitals.
The people of Lamerd, who honor the martyrdom of their region, are listening to the Supreme Leader’s command. Iran’s armed forces will deliver a hard and decisive response to these aggressions, and vengeance will be taken against those responsible, including Trump and Netanyahu, for shedding the blood of innocent children.
