The international taekwondo competition was held on Sunday, 1 February 2026 (12 Bahman 1404 in the Iranian calendar) at Sheikh Zayed Hall in Fujairah, UAE, with the participation of 206 athletes from various countries.
Iran’s women’s national team produced an impressive overall performance, finishing the tournament with a total of eight medals: one gold, three silver and four bronze.
Golden Performance by Mobina Ne’matzadeh
The standout athlete of the competition for Iran was Mobina Ne’matzadeh, who dominated the -53 kg weight category and secured the gold medal with a confident and commanding display.

Three Iranian athletes advanced to the finals and earned silver medals:
- Kosar Assaseh — -62 kg
- Saina Karimi — -46 kg
- Fatemeh Ahmadi — +73 kg
