Mobina Nematzadeh, a young Iranian taekwondo star, has captured hearts as much as medals.

The 19-year-old secured bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympics, but it’s her post-victory declaration that has the world talking. In a powerful display of faith, Nematzadeh dedicated her hard-earned medal to Imam Mahdi, a revered figure in Shia Islam. Mobina Nematzadeh, a 19-year-old Iranian taekwondo star, secured the second bronze medal for Iran at the Paris 2024 Olympic Taekwondo rankings by defeating her Saudi opponent with determination.

🔹 In her post-victory interview, she stated: “I had vowed to Imam Mahdi (AJ) that if I won a medal, I would dedicate it to the people of Iran and Imam Mahdi (AJ).”

Muslims believe that a person titled “Mahdi,” who shares the name with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), will appear in the end times to spread Islam and fill the world with justice and fairness.
