500 Seminaries Played a Role in the Campaign

The head of Iran’s Islamic religious seminaries for women announced that 500 seminaries, across three levels of education, actively participated in the “Iran Solidarity Campaign” and fulfilled their mission.

United Against Oppression

Hojatoleslam Mojtaba Fazel, speaking at a meeting of the Iran Solidarity Campaign in Qom, stated: “Over the past year, the Zionist regime has unleashed its brutality on Gaza and Lebanon, earning itself every disgraceful title imaginable. However, these atrocities have united Muslims in supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza. People of diverse nationalities, cultures, and ethnicities have come together to stand against Israeli aggression.”

The Role of Women’s Seminaries

Fazel emphasized that the women’s seminaries were among the key institutions supporting this cause. He noted that 500 seminaries across three levels of education played a significant role in this initiative. “This was an opportunity for the Women’s Seminary Management Center to put three decades of efforts in training female scholars to the test—and the results were commendable,” he added.

Extraordinary Acts of Generosity

He highlighted the remarkable sacrifices made by female seminary students, who, despite receiving no salaries or stipends, managed to collect 14 kilograms of gold to support the oppressed in Lebanon. “From a student who donated her only gold ring to another who anonymously contributed her home to the resistance front—such acts of generosity define this campaign,” Fazel said.

122 Billion Tomans in Total Donations

Fazel revealed that the total contributions, both monetary and non-monetary, amounted to 122 billion tomans, with 19 billion tomans worth of donated goods. He praised the students and their families, who, despite financial hardships and belonging to lower-income segments of society, generously supported the resistance movement.

A Model of Sacrifice

He further noted that one of the southern provinces, despite not having a strong economy compared to other regions, contributed 4.2 kilograms of the 14 kilograms of collected gold—an inspiring example of devotion and generosity.

A Nation Responding to the Call

In a society rooted in faith, we take pride in witnessing people from all walks of life respond to the call of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and stand by the resistance front,” Fazel stated. He concluded by expressing hope that in the coming Nights of Qadr, God would decree the best for the Iranian nation and turn the plots of their enemies against them.
