In a ceremony held at the cleanroom facilities of the Razavi Khorasan Science and Technology Park, a pioneering mobile cleanroom was unveiled under the leadership of a distinguished woman entrepreneur, marking a significant milestone in the production of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals.
A Trailblazing Woman at the Forefront
Dr. Azar Kianinejad, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at the knowledge-based company Kian Gostaresh Salamat Asia, led the event celebrating the unveiling of the mobile cleanroom. Her company, situated within the Science and Technology Park in Mashhad, specializes in the design, consulting, construction, and certification of cleanrooms built to GMP and ISO-based standards.
What Makes This Cleanroom Unique
Dr. Kianinejad explained that while cleanrooms of this kind have been constructed by other knowledge-based firms, their version stands out as portable—capable of producing medical devices and pharmaceuticals and, crucially, preserving medicines in emergency situations.
She further noted that countries such as Belarus, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan have expressed strong interest in purchasing these mobile modules or establishing production sites locally. Additionally, her company offers full-service consultation from start to finish, assisting applicants in building such cleanrooms from the ground up.
Portability Meets Practical Sustainability
Dr. Kianinejad pointed out the drawbacks of renting stationary cleanrooms in factory settings—high costs paired with uncertain returns once rental periods end. In contrast, the mobile cleanrooms produced by Kian Gostaresh Salamat offer mobility and a stable, well-defined investment.
They are especially valuable in crisis scenarios, such as wartime—where maintaining safe storage for medical supplies is critical. The company is also prepared to provide training to those aiming to locally produce pharmaceuticals or medical equipment.
Beyond Business: Boosting Local Economies
With an eye on sustainable economic development, Dr. Kianinejad emphasized how these cleanrooms could benefit provinces like Sistan and Baluchestan—regions with few drug manufacturing facilities. By deploying portable cleanrooms and providing education and training, her company aims to create jobs, foster economic growth, and locally develop cleanroom production capabilities.
Supporting Pharmaceutical Quality Control
Many pharmaceutical firms must validate their products annually. Kian Gostaresh Salamat is equipped with a laboratory recognized by Iran’s health authorities, enabling them to perform validation and certification services for these companies.
