The Iranian women’s Alish wrestling national team clinched the championship title at the Asian Championships, securing an impressive haul of 5 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals across both classic and freestyle divisions.

According to the Public Relations of the Wrestling Federation, the Asian Women’s Alish Wrestling Championships, featuring both classic and freestyle events, took place on May 23rd and 24th in New Delhi, India. The Iranian team, thanks to the stellar performance of its national athletes, emerged victorious as the overall champion.

The final overall team rankings for the championships are as follows:

  1. Iran: 250 points
  2. Kyrgyzstan: 235 points
  3. Kazakhstan: 217 points
