The UNICEF Executive Director said shocking reports have emerged of seven children killed in Gaza while waiting in line to receive water.
The UNICEF Executive Director stated that this incident occurred just days after the massacre of women and children while they were in line for food aid.
She added: Israeli authorities must review their rules of engagement and ensure the protection of civilians in accordance with international law.
According to UNICEF, over 5,800 Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip suffered from malnutrition in June.
The agency explained that this figure includes “more than 1,000 children suffering from acute malnutrition.”
UNICEF noted that this number has increased for the fourth consecutive month.
